The Annual Business Meeting of the State Retirees Association is scheduled to begin at 10:30 on Wednesday April 19, 2023 at Seawell’s on Rosewood Drive in Columbia. We will of course have representatives from PEBA and the RSIC joining us us to give us the latest information on our healthcare and investments. But this year we do not plan to have a keynote speaker.
We have a number of vacant Board positions as well as officer vacancies that need to be filled and will be accepting nominations from the floor as well as recommendations from the Board. Finally, we are going to need your help. As an association we have been reasonably successful over the past several years protecting and strengthening what we worked for and earned. As we plot a course for the future, we need to hear from our members, where do we need to focus.
